·         Extract the firmware
·         Then install Odin.
·         Open Odin on your Pc
·         Switch off the device.
·         Put it in download mode by pressing on Volume Down button while powering on.
·         Connect the Note with the computer by using the USB cord.
·         Once you do this the Added message should be displayed on Odin and the ID:COM section should be yellow.
·         If not, try to re-install the drivers and then re-do the last step.
·         Next, on Odin click on “PDA”.
·         Choose the tar file downloaded before (the firmware).
·         Click on “start”.
·         Stay untill for the process to end and don’t make any other changes in Odin.
·         The handset should reboot by itself when the root procedure is done.
